La Fortuna

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Located just two hours from Buenos Aires, the remarkable Estancia La Fortuna is a stunning French style chateau that distills the charms of Argentinian gaucho cultural traditions, in a truly beautiful setting. The perfect destination for equestrian lovers, Estancia La Fortuna is rooted in gaucho heritage and horses from some of the most prestigious English polo tournaments are trained here. A typical day at La Fortuna might include a horseback ride through the grounds (suitable for beginners), accompanied by one of the gauchos who work on the ranch.

About the property

The house, built in 1873, near Salto in Argentina, was designed by French architect Le Bergere for its French Argentinian owners and is suitable for up to 16 people in 7 luxurious suites with interiors that combine antiques with a modern and luxurious style. Oozing elegance and history from every corner, La Fortuna has the feel of a grand old country house, with works of art and fine furnishings from Argentina's glorious Belle Epoque at the turn of the century.
